2. Rear Fog light on SII estate ?

Featured Replies

I was reading in the SIII section and one guy described that on the SII 2 rear fog lights were standard. Our FL with LEDs has definitely only got one active. Can a second rear fog light be coded to become active???

If you look closely, you'll probably find that the LED's used for the fog are only fitted to one side.

Assuming a wire is present and you grab a new fog lamp from a country that drives on the opposite side of the road - it should just coding using VCP or ODIS-e (not VCDS).

As above, the FL Superb Combi uses LED's for the rear foglight, they are not fitted to the nearside on UK cars so there is nothing to activate.

Good idea to try sourcing a nearside cluster from a left hand drive car.

See here (including part numbers)...

Three super bright LED's right at the bottom, on the offside only...

It was the pre-FL without LED's that had twin rear fogs (the same as my Twindoor)...
