I was doing a bit of work on the car and one of the jobs was supposed to be changing the thermostat but the Skoda parts guy couldn't find the right clip to hold on one of the hoses, it may not have been needed but I like to have that kinda stuff to hand just incase.

Is it possible to buy a kit of them in a selection of sizes, I certainly haven't seen them but it's not the first time Skoda/VW couldn't find them.

I've tried to add a pic of the ones I'm on about but as I'm on the phone it might not work.

They aren't items subject to wear and tear so unless lost or broken will last the car's lifetime.

Nip down to your local scrappy and search VAG models.

You could always improvise and use a DIY item made from a wire coat hanger.

They come with the coolant pipes, not a lower level part.

well that'll explain why he couldn't find them then. It was really just to have it incase something happened to it as I wouldn't be able to get one and needed the car for work.

I'll go to a scrappy at somepoint and get some.
