How much would you pay for this octy mk2.

Featured Replies

Work have a lease car that is due to go back shortly, I've asked for a price of how much to buy it at end of lease.

Here are the details.

2012  on a 12 plate.

31K Miles

1.6CR DSG 7 speed.

Combi

However it is only the S model,

I've driven it quiet a lot recently as it is a pool car driven by members of staff around the locality. I know it has a DPF, but most trips are 20 miles each way with a mix of dual carriageway and national limit roads.

Spec is boggo standard S trim, so no remote locking and wind down back windows and standard AC and steel wheels with hubcaps.

How much do you think the lease company are likely to come back with, and I'll post the figure here once I have it.

Well the price came through today, £7100 which I don't think is particularly competitive.

I could have the 62 plate corsa 1.3cdti with 22k on it for 4K next month.

There is no comparison between the octavia and the corsa even if the octavia is base

New octavia £18600

New corsa £13600

Skoda is an estate, thus more desirable, corsa uses Fiat engine which is a load of poo if local Vauxhall mechanics are to be believed, purchase price, reliability and desirability will all effect the value of the cars,

But of course if the corsa suits your requirements then from the get go you have less of an outlay

Have a look in Autotrader, Parkers and see what prices they are showing. If their prices are lower than your company are asking, ask if they will reduce to their prices.

Don't ask , et al....

I think that's a pretty good price for that car. The fact you know its history makes it even more appealing tbh

£7100 for a standard Octavia S that has been used as a pool car?

No thanks!

You'd get a much better car for that money if you keep your eyes peeled.

Can't argue with this, at the price mentioned its a lot of car for the money and its cheaper than any similar on autotrader.
