False alarms on tyre pressure?

Featured Replies

Is anyone else having reports of continued reporting of low tyre pressure? This is not specific to a particular tyre, and when I measure the pressure, or just do a visual inspection, the tyre is fine.

Most irritating!

Are you getting an alert to say a certian tyre... or a system error message ?

When new.. i got this error a few times..

I resolved it by lowering all pressures to 30psi.reset syste,.. driving for a few hundred metres and back to garage and increased pressures to 38psi and reset system.

Not had an alert since.

The correct alert should tell you which tyre...

It does say Error

try dropping the pressures. reset... drive and then top them up to the correct presurre again and set system

That fixed mine -

How many miles you have on it ?

...and now it's saying that rear right has low pressure - although it looks OK to me.

I'll try your trick, though.
