I finally took the plunge on my First Brand new car.

After enjoy my current Monte very much, and a helpful efficient local dealer on the rare occasion I needed to use them. Thought I'd order my self a New Monte Carlo.

With just a 3 week wait ????

Presume your choice of spec meets a car on UK stock, hence short delivery. Mine was the same....although going for Topaz Brown was a bit of a surprise to everyone, me included, as I left home with the intention of buying Corrida Red and had never seen one in TB, (neither had any of the dealer staff). Still very rare, it seems. Enjoy your new baby.

I didn't initially have plans to change, the sales man who previously sold me my first Monte Carlo phoned to discuss the current offers 0% and the Free Fuel + deposit contribution. Which brought down my currently monthly payments.

I was originally quoted against a Race Blue one that was in Stock.

So Saturday morning took the boss with me to have a look around a ex demo as I was yet to see it in the flesh.

After agreeing that the cheaper monthly payment and lower running costs decided sod it we would do it.

I was informed of one coming of the Production line that has a Spare wheel and The 17s (the 17s being the main extra I wanted and a Spare is always preferred. So with a little haggling as this the 3rd car my Family had from this Dealer got the price reduced on supagaurd too (it made such a diff to my current Monte)

Well order Saturday, after becoming avalbie from the factory, a ship left today from Germany heading for Sheerness..... Fingers crossed it made that boat haha

The waiting is boring me now haha

Nice one CRASH67. I know how you feel. I get mine on Thursday. I too will have only had a three week wait. Mine is not the MC though. Went for the SE 110ps DSG in Quartz Grey Metallic. Happy days ahead eh!

I do like that Grey colour... very much a trend at the moment.

It baffles me how people can wait months... i guess if you can afford your perfect spec, then i guess it makes sense haha.

Well looks like theres been a fair few trips from Emden to Sheerness. So fingers crossed not much longer!!! Haha.
