Hi all

In my Octavia II RS from 2006 the Maxidot display back light disappear.

Some times it is normal and other times nearly impossible to read. All the dots seems to be there just they are not illuminated.

 

So I have been looking at a homepage called cars equipment for a replacement one.

Now my problem.

It seems that there are 2 types of displays and to avoid to take it all out of the car before I have the new one, maybe someone in here can tell me what the right OEM number would be.

There are these 2 types.

OEM A2C00056422-01 Instrument Clusters  OEM A2C53141764-AI Instrument Clusters 

the one ending 764 is for your cluster

 

however the best thing to do is to look at your one for the code on the sticker to be 100% sure

 

As i have seen different versions which don't work when you swop them
