Problem with Fab VRS headunit

Featured Replies

Help required please:)

My girlfriends father has a '53' plate Fab VRS with the standard Symphony headunit.....the problem is when you start the car with a CD already loaded the unit just clicks repeatedly and then doesnt recognise that theres a CD actually already loaded....Any suggestions as to what the problem might be if anyone has experienced this before?...It's still within the Manufacturers warranty so it will be booked in eventually (if they decide to pick up the phones!)...if its not something straightforward to rectify we'll obviously get a new headunit under warranty.

any help greatly appreciated as always!

cheers

Mine does exactly the same, dealer says it's knackered and I'm just waiting for the new one to be fitted.

Had a problem with my first HU where it would just stop in the middle of the treck and then read 'error', and sometimes even eject the CD. Had it changed under warranty. New one is giving me a wierd problem...sometimes when I'm listenin to a CD and then decide to listen radio, I'll switch modes but a saved channel would be gone, depending on which was the channel I was listening to last.
