windscreen fascia

Featured Replies

I do not know the name of this part but yesterday after washing and waxing my rapid I was doing the windscreen and at the bottom where the wipers sit (black slotted air intake grille, there are 2 end covers.  They have always been a bit of a sloppy fit.  Enough to say the one on the driver side came off, there is a clip that hods it in place however the double sided sticky tape that holds it in place is well and truly knackered.

I intend to get one of those sticky pads used to hold number plates on however in the mean time I have blu taked it into place hoping it doesnt drop off as I drive

any one else noticed this or had it happen on their rapid? :notme:

yes them, I think they are purely decorative and to cover the A frame.  I was going to try some of these sticky pads you use to hold number plates on when not screwed in place.  When I get any that is.  The Blutak is working for now
