Importing Outlook

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've done a clean install on my main laptop to move it from Win10 32bit to 64bit (in order to make use of the extra 4GB RAM I just stuck in it).

I've got it all working and Office is reinstalled. However Outlook is driving me potty and I've got a hangover.

I have imported the pst file from the previous installation and that is visible in Outlook but doesn't send/receive any mail and doesn't have a connection to an actual email account in Outlook.

I created a new account and manually entered all the server settings to connect with my isp - but now I've got two outlook mail files; one which is an archive of all my stuff up to the other day, and a new box which all new mail is going into.

I'm clearly having a "thick" day as I can't seem to work out how to merge the two, so there's just one place containing all my mail past and present.

Help please?
