My oil pressure warning light came on...

I changed the oil and filter but it has come on again after a couple of days of light use.

The engine bay and engine seem very hot...

Looking for things I can check to fix this problem and advise if possible.

Where is the oil pressure sensor situated.

Have you ever had the oil pickup pipe changed?

Blocked oil pick up strainer is the usual culprit, & if it is driving it could be catastrophic !!

As said, the oil pick up pipe will need to be changed. Very common issue but fairly cheap to rectify if you can do the work yourself.
