Can anyone help me with this code P0403 EGR Circuit Malfunction.. It sounds to me like an electrical issue to the EGR!?Or could the EGR be blocked or not functioning? 2011 Skoda Octavia 1.6Tdi 105bhp.. Thank you in advance.

PS: Is there any way of cleaning my particular EGR, My previous car(VW Passat) it was sitting near on top of engine, but this one is buried :-(

I have the same fault code, probably on the same car (2012 1.6L Diesel 105bhp), so I'm guessing it's a fair chance we have the same problem

I was adviced to check some fuses (simplest possible error that gives this fault code according to some internetsoruce), all fuses were ok.

 

I read the instruction in your link, my scan tool can't to this (at least not with the software i have) any good advice on buying a scan tool for this car ?
