Wobble feeling through steering.

Featured Replies

Has anyone had this feeling? I can only feel it when turning the steering very slowly, moving or not. It's like the feeling of having a wonky wheel. It's only very slight, but irritating none the less. Also, steering wheel makes a quiet rapid clicking when turning quickly lock to lock. Is this normal?

I think a few more details would be useful. eg:- Car, age, mileage, history etc.

NB, this is the Fabia III section.

Thanks AG Falco

Oops!

Fabia Colour edition. Less than 400 miles. 2 months old. Tbh, I'm going to roll with it to see how it develops. Just wondered if anyone had experienced similar. I know Audi had issues with notchy electric power steering.

Best not roll with it on such a new and low mileage car.

Have it into the Skoda Dealer and collect a Courtesy car until the car can be check correctly to see it is safe.

No point taking risks.

Mine is not at all like that. It's very smooth. I would have it checked.

Oh dear. I'm sure my dealers are sick of the sight of me! :D

What other issues have you had.

& is this at Sighthill?

When you've taken a 18 month old Polo back to the dealer 11 times for warranty that is getting sick of the sight of you and the car. I am sure the feeling is mutual!

It is Offski. To be fair, west end have been brilliant.

1. Bought Focus tdci. That went back about 10 times in 6 months for a dropping throttle issue. The dealer principle eventually offered to trade it in for what was left on the finance and see what was in stock.

Bought....

2. 07 Octy vrs TDI. This had over £2000 of warranty work done.

Condenser

Two rear hubs.

Two rear callipers.

Two front bottom arms

Handbrake cable.

Traded in to.....

3. Brand new Fabia colour edition tsi 90.

So far I've had I checked for a tick which turned out was the normal cold injector tick that nobody told me about. They didn't charge me for that.

The staff know me by name now. :D
