Was it you?

Featured Replies

Took me motor on a road trip to Prague.

So many Skodas, I lost count of the number of times I could have asked was it you? ????

Did you like the dodgy driving out there?

Also the crap 2 lane motorways with trucks pulling out all the time and Germans charging down at 200mph...lol

Teehee, didn't see any 200mph trucks. Haven't seen many vRSs either.

Mind you, while crossing Germany I did find out how good the brakes were, when a car pulled out into the outside lane when I'm arriving at about 150mph. According to the OBD2 app, Torque, I lost 60mph in 4 seconds. Enough to make you twitch a bit. Grrrr!

Shortly after German reunification I was doing about 130mph in the fast lane of an autobahn in an Audi 90 hire car when a Trabant pulled out in front of me doing about 30mph (i.e. foot flat to the floor!). Fortunately the brakes were good, as I hate to think what would have become of the Trabant...

Certainly gets the heart rate up!
