Cruise control not working

Hi

 

Cruise control not working - it is on the same stalk as indicators which are working.

 

I had a diagnostic tool connected to it and got the following error messages:

 

Mechanic suggested putting some switch cleaner in as I had done some research and some people suggestedt here may be dirt inside.

 

I don't have skills to do DIY repalcement of any parts so hopeully not a change of the stalk.

check the fuse for cruise control 

Yup, short to plus would indicate a blown fuse.
