Sussed it. Behind the top of the mirror glass are two plastic clips, release them and wriggle the mirror cover off. The repeat indicator unit is then released by undoing one T20 screw. Easy when you know how, only took 5 mins.

Thank you for useful information looks like you are the first to tackle on this forum.

Very useful and helpful information. What a rip off the dealer wanted £70 for a 5 mine job. Joe

I wonder if that's a minimum of 1 hour quoted, which may or may not have been fully charged?

Hello all,

going to have a go at changing my drivers side mirror indicator as plastic housing cracked.

Has anyone else had a go since the Beastie a couple of years ago?

I am not quite clear from the Beastie’s instructions if I first have to prise away the mirror glass to unclip mirror cover? Sounds like I may have to but a bit worried about cracking the glass....

Cheers.

Here's another post that might help

Thanks, that should be far better, I didn’t fancy attempting to prise the mirrored glass of the front due to risk of cracking it. Just waiting for the Indicator to arrive then will have a go!

All went well, as detailed above, adjust mirror so it faces down as far as possible. Poke a thin flat head screw driver in the top to release the two clips holding the cover. Slide cover off, remove bulb, then undo T20 screw, repeat indicator comes straight off, replace, put back together and job done.
