Am a bit of a numpty when it comes to such things, but, is it possible to Twin Turbo the octy, that way (as i understand it) the smaller turbo kickes in lower down the rpm range, allowing for the bigger turbo to come on stream later, but hopefully sorting out any possible lag from just a big turbo upgrade?

On my low boost setting I have a minimum of 300Nm from 2k all the way to 7k.....very progressive and driveable....the torque curve is very flat.

I would say it drives much better than when I had "just" a remap.

It mainly comes down to how much cash you're prepared to throw at (and pour into) the car though. Pound for pound, 'just' a remap is amazing value!

This is my every day driving setting and is very good.....I very rarely use the high boost mode as I find I don't really need to....it's nice to have something in reserve though.

I'm still keen to experience somebody's 300+bhp Octavia. If anybody in the Manchester area's got one they'd like to demonstrate, please contact me!

thanks a lot for your advice guys ,i have allways gone with jabba but the only reason i was pushing towards the forge fmic was it looks a lot bigger and i presume creates more cold air :confused:
