Driving through Brum last Thursday evening I saw a big white camper van parked up on the pavement with Police logos on the front and sides.

Anyone else seen it? Want a picture of it but we hadnt got the camera fone handy, and google didnt bring up any.

What's it for? (I'm guessing maybe caravan crime talks...)

Or a different kind of sleeping policement...?

May be a mobile 24 hr camera van:eek: And the officed in charge has to sleep in there.

Yea, I saw it in Walsall at a gig.

The police had blocked off the centre for all the pre-christmas "turning the lights on" celebrations. I had a hell of a time finding where I was going and walked around for a bit. Shame I didn't have my camera with me either.

I think they were using it as a mobile police station. A bit like old police boxes.

Can't imagine Dr Who turning up in a Campervan!
