I'm talking about improving Performance in a 'Driving round twisty country lanes at high speed' type way. Nothing cosmetic.. If I could afford to splash the cash on noises, I'd buy the 'Forge' Dump - Valve!

Your expert opinions are welcomed.

Ta in advance.......

John.

Get on the ARB group buy, if you're not already.

'nuff said. ;)

Strut Brace. Cheap and effective

Just a bit concerned it might make the ar$e a bit too 'twitchy' on Peak District roads, rather than a track.

Try mine at the Cat and fiddle John. It doesnt make it twitchy at all. It makes it handle much better, and its safe and predictable if it starts to slide.

If not an arb, maybe a blueflame exhaust. Google video is your friend on that one.

Arb

Driver improvement course ;)

Chris

I'd do the brakes next, if it were me. ARB is tempting though, I can see that :)

Steve

any of the above apart from the WRC wing, I doubt it will make your car quicker.

If it was me I'd go for the brakes or ARB

KW Coilovers :D

I just noticed you wrote 'nothing cosmetic' and want something to improve 'performance' then in your list of options you put 'WRC wing'

That one was a joke right?

Jabba now list Ds2500 pads for the fabia vrs. I'd say go for that. If not then an ARB but depends on how yours handles with the koni's, what setting have you got them on? After that a FMIC for the summer months.

Full rebound: thats a 'Bumpy B road compromise' that I'm prepared to live with as my back-seat passengers have threatened me, due to an initial super-stiff harsh rear-end....

Aye, and there's the rub........I can't go for the ARB if it means a harder, harsher rear end.

If the effect is progressive, like the Eibachs and applicable to cornering ONLY, I'd be up for it.

I'm not sure on the mechanics, so if any of you boffins out there can advise me....

John.

It's designed to stop lateral roll, it won't affect vertical movement if both wheels hit the same bump.

Well in that case, if it improves handling ( and it's already pretty good, considering how I 'mullered' that 'Laguna 2.0 Cdi 150' round an adverse - camber bend, yesterday)........

did somebody mention a GB?

John.

Highly recommend the rear ARB. It will give you tremendous turn in. If your budget can stretch, get a quaife atb diff and say bye bye to understeer. It will nail the front of the car to any apex and just sling shot you round bends. Its the best handling mod I've ever done.

I dont wish to hijack the thread, but could you pm me with some info on the diff, cheers.

Oh, alright then. Yourself, Shifty and Black Magic can't all be wrong..........

I'll get on the GB ( just be my luck if they don't get the 10 minimum )......

PS. You coming to the 'Derbyshire meet' @ the 'Cat'?
