I am an ideal customer though. 25 y/o, 8 years no claims, no accidents [one non fault] or points - car on a driveway in a low crime area 14k / annum, all mods declared -

Your wife on the policy would have helped- so i have been told :)

My missus is 2 yrs younger (23) and actually increased my premium :thumbdwn:

Car insurance is one BIG LOTTERY i guess

my gf put mine up but thats because she has points i think

Thats a good deal !!! I pay £400 per year (age 28, 9 yrs NCB, no points and 13k per year) but have an excess of only £100 voluntary.

To put things in prespective I got a quote for a Focus ST (new model), my current insurers refused to cover me and the best quote I could find was £800 with £500 excess !!!!! Used to think that 25 was the magical age in terms of reasonable insurance but now it appears the goal posts have moved to 30, oh well 18 months to go before anything group 17+ can be considered

Yes very big lottery :(

I just told GreenLight about the short shifter. Spoke with Neil, "Yeah no probs Mr Morley".

Thought i'd take the oppertunity to declare my 312mm Brakes, apparently my insurance will be nearly £200 more :(

Looks like i'm going to have to go back to 288mm Brakes and just get some decent discs/pads...

I'm a little scared about the form I have to fill in - the number of mods going on soon is long - and I've got 3 points to declare which no doubt will hit me :(

Just gonna add that hybrid + clutch upgrade to the list so I can just do those whenever I've got the time

Good quote! I'm impressed with adrian flux too - they certainly quoted me happy!

We were payin £520 (low risk area) til we put the springs on :( went up £104!! - 4yrs no claims.

I was quoted

didn`t get a good quote from adrian flux, just under
