Monte TDi 105 brake size?

Featured Replies

As the title says really, I'm needing to replace the front discs and pads on my Monte soon but they come in 3 different sizes?

Am I rite in thinking they're 288x25?

Also if that is the correct size am I rite in thinking I can use a 312mm setup without changing the hubs?

Thanks

I find the easiest way to tell is if your calipers bolt to a carrier is the carrier bolted or cast as part of the hub carting the wheel bearing, if it's bolt on you can fit the 312 setup

Thanks, I'll check the carrier.

Any ideas with the disc size anyone?

288 Id imagine.

Could be 288 or 256 seems to depend on what was available

My Elegance discs were 288 standard, and the carriers were separate from the hub, so the 312 upgrade was a straight swap

I've had a look, and the carriers are separate as you've just said Brimma so 312s are going on
