I've been watching this forum since yesteryear, but never posted anything.

 

I've a Octavia 2 PRE-FL with stream MP3 radio, and i'm considering trading it. I've seen that the DS-820 is a highly praised radio for Skoda owners, but I have a question. Does it work with my car electronics and CAN BUS? Will I get the same functionalities as a Columbus (or better)?

I'm asking this because i read that PRE-FL cars have a different interface of FL Octavias.

 

Also, do I have to trade the face plate because of the Stream MP3 radio?

 

Car: Skoda Octavia MK2 (2007), with climatronic, maxidot, stream MP3
