I don't believe you can reset the Garmin one can you? The short term memory resets after a couple of hours of not being used.... The reset button on the dash just resets the speedo trip.

As Dave says, the Garmin trip computer has a bit of a mind of its own :wonder:

Whilst the Garmin is displaying Info on long term mileage press and hold the dash reset button down until the PID resets. It is not the short push the dash mileage reset needs but a longer hold down.
