Is it out yet?

Yeah it is out. My friend has just got his think he chose every option even 19s! He said it doesnt torque steer too much, which he is relieved about!

I should get to see it on saturday....will be interesting

doesnt torque steer too much

From what i have seen on top gear & fifth gear it torqued steered like a bitch, when given it some ! :(

You can get pretty much any FWD car to torque steer, given the right combination of road surface, gear and throttle openning though......

good to hear from you mike... what car have you got now?

Its on my test drive list ;)

Do a search on Astra posted by me - you'll find my review of the lower powered one....

Actually, I'll bump the thread for you.....

I drove one last weekend!

Great car, useable power, fun to drive and (unlike every other performance vauxhall) a decent handling setup

Better than the Golf GTi IMHO by a significant margin

Wouldn't buy one though

Hello Paul its been a long time. I have a 2005 Suzuki Ignis Sport which is currently being modified at the moment.

I was converted to LPG gas this week, the car is great fun to drive. When its finished soon ill post a thread on it.

I decided to get something insureable and in my own name this time. As the octavia rs was insured in my mums name I never built up any no claims bonus. What I would really like is a Lotus Esprit V8 or a variant. So Im using the ignis for the next 5 or so years to build my ncb.

I do seriously like the Astra vxr along with the new vectra vxr and even the old gsi 3.2.

Do you still have that badboy rover 4 series?

Did you get a good price for your tv in the end. I got a big one myself now :)

guy at works got one, going to blag a go today.

The VXR always seems to be overlooked compared to the Focus ST, but I'd rather have the Astra anyday... much better looking and faster.

Indeed - my cousin lives in such an area that drive a lot of vauxhalls, and a chap a few doors up from him drives a 54 reg Evo. It looks great parked in his garden

Very true! But I can sleep better knowing that I got something fairly good for a lot less and I own it out-right.
