Led indicators and reverse lights

Featured Replies

I know that led number plate lights have to be coded with Vcds but what about adding Led indicators and reverse lights on a MY17 car with the led tail lights?

Thanks

They need to be coded as well, since you are still going from incandescent to LED.

Might be a good mod to get the fronts changed to quality LED's seing as the bumper has to come off to replace them.

Thanks guys

I have these for reverse lights and these for rear indicators.

They work without coding (no bulb-out warning, at least in my MY2014).

Both of them are great improvement in terms of light output. :)

Being error free is probably a side effect of the built-in LED driver, from memory they work at 6-7 W / 4-5 W.

Just ordered the same for my MY18 Octy - same model & item. Has these been error/trouble free so far without the need for coding?

No problems at all and I drive approx. 5000 km in every month!
