Whistling noise from drivers side blowers

Featured Replies

Hi again,

Thought now I'm on here I'd pick your brains again.

A couple of months ago someone reversed into my fabia2 1.2htp and crumpled my driver's side wing, bumper and headlight. All were repaired satisfactorily but since then when I have my blowers on, hot or cold, and start to drive I have a whistling sound from sort of right of the steering wheel, I can't place exactly where. If I switch to recycle the noise stops and only starts again if I am doing 50ish or above. I have looked under the hood but can't see anything obvious. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks in advance.

Paul

The description makes me think that there's something in the RH fan ducts. Bon chance mon ami!

Yeah thought that too, strange though that it stops when I switch blowers to recycle. Also only started after the repair. Odd!
