Does anyone know if i can update my Bolero stereo that's in my 2010 Octavia. Ive noticed when i use the phone book on the stereo, the names come up "£*&%£*"&$^£*"&$%$%%£*("

 

The hardware on mine is:

FD - 1110
HW - 010
SW - 0053

There is a dealer only update to take it to 054 but have you tried resets on both units first?

when you say reset both units, do you mean unpairing the my phone and stereo and repairing them again?

I think the only way to reset the Bolero is to remove the fuse - #19. Turning the phone off and back on after unpairing would also check if that's part of the problem.
