New owner, couple questions

Featured Replies

Hi, I just bought a citigo which was an insurance total loss cat d.

It's just the basic s model so doesn't have remote central locking or electric windows.

Was just looking for some answers to some questions I have if possible

When I lock the drivers door with the key the boot locks but the passenger door doesn't. Is this normal? If it is how do you lock the passenger door as it has no lock?

Next question is can I add remote central locking? Can it be activated via vagcom then program a remote to suit or am I wishful thinking?

Same with electric windows, can they be fitted and coded to work with vagcom or is there no wiring in the car for that

You can do anything with enough money! Unfortunately I cannot answer your questions but there are others here who I'm sure can.

I had a citigo 's' a couple of years ago. Basically you lock it from inside the car from what i remember, no other way. It definitely didn't lock the passenger door when using the key. Bizarre tbh, annoyed me!
