Whats the current preferred makes at the moment?

(VRs Estate)

Tempted to do fronts as well.

And anyone cheaper than Dealer etc in the Stockport Manchester Area?

(Before anyone says DIY, damaged right arm and struggle to pick up and abuse tools at the moment)

Pagid are ok.  Why take it to a dealer?

If you wait until the weekend, GSF normally have a 40+% sale

Used Pagid for years on all my VAG cars & never had an issue.

Pagid in a Pagid box rather than a VAG one all year.

Had an email this morning, 46% off brakes/clutch with code OCT46

So more like proper prices than inflated ones.  I get most of my stuff from carparts4less.co.uk - its a variant of ECP

Went to a local garage who wanted £300 in labour and £180 in discs and pads.

So the actual Skoda dealer is cheaper!

Pagid it is.

Just tried that, didn't work.

That code was for yesterday only. They normally have a 40%+ discount code every weekend.

+1 on the Pagid recommendation - that's what's on my Skoda and Clio.

That was just for the rear.

Am thinking priced to not take the job on.

Which is daft as work is work, cash is cash.

Shop around, shouldnt be more than an hour a side tops if you get the parts which should come to £80 or so.
