Finally joining the MK3 forum!

Hello!

 

After months and months of lurking and posting in the MK3 section, I've finally taken the plunge in replacing my Race Blue MK2 facelift TSI with the equivalent MK3 version. The MK2 was my first Skoda and I've enjoyed having it, but when this one came up, I knew I had to go for it. It's a 63 with 15k on the clock and luckily for me, the previous owner wasn't shy with the options list when they placed the order.

Collecting it on Monday and I'm looking forward it! Seemed like a big leap forward in tech compared with my almost standard MK2 FL TSI! Now going to spend hours trawling through the topics finding out what led bulbs can be fitted, what VCDS tweaks can be done etc. Attached a couple of dealer pics, will add some more when it's collected!

Enjoy. Lots to play with and find out what they are like, just as I am still doing with mine having just clocked first K1mls. Apart from the looks and feel I particularly like the Columbus, Kessy and DSG (TDi) (plus use of the paddles for override).

It's a 1 owner car which was privately owned. Apparently they traded it up for a Superb.
