I agree, and can be had for sub 15k

Will be able to have my own little group test in march - two of my colleagues in work have also ordered new cars to be delivered in March :

A Orange Focus ST2 and a Vauxhall Astra VXR

Although when I get my vRS there will be more Skoda's in the carpark than anything else - my boss's and one of our technicians plus mine

Not driven the ST but the VXR is a much more focused performance car than the new vRS, but I preferred the vRS as a package - just a nicer, quieter, smoother place to be.

Just don't race them because Skoda's fastest ever car won't be fast enough :thumbdwn:

The VXR is awesome and I'd recommend everybody have a go in one - there's been so much unwarranted criticism thrown at it - it is such an easy car to get right compared to fast Vauxhalls of old - TG proved that on the track immediately after they'd slagged it for being hard to drive

I found it exceptionally well mannered.

What Car is great.Octavia gets hot hatch of the year beating Golf GTI.In the ratings at the back of the mag,vRS gets 4* Golf gets 5*
