Unless it is a 4x4 it won't have a DPF.

Thanks Sam for your speedy response!

Sorry but you are not right,

You need to look what is an engine code.

For example BMM (2.0 TDI 140KM 8V) mainly in Scout's or for belelux  have DPF like mine for example form 2009 but this engin as far as i remeber was since 2007.

So better first check :)

Yes a Scout is a 4x4, so has a DPF.

In the UK at least, the only 2.0 TDI PD 140 that came with a DPF was the 4x4 and Scout models.

The 2.0 TDI PD 170 in the vRS also came with a DPF.

I can only echo what is said above, no DPF here in the UK.

It should be noted this is specific to Skoda, some VW PD140 non-4x4 engines are fitted with a DPF.

if you have access to the car lift the carpet in the boot and look for the options code sticker - or check the same in the service schedule.  If you see the VAG Group code '7GG' it had a DPF from the factory but, as stated above, in the UK the only 2.0 PD140's that had them were the 8v BMM engines fitted to the Octavia Scout and 4x4 had them.
