Rattle Coming From Passenger side wheel

Featured Replies

I've just had the shocks changed along with the break pads, break disc, break hoses and anti roll bar bush.

There was a loud noise in the car before i had the shocks done but now its not as loud but still annoying.

Mechanic said wishbone and ball joint are both fine.

Anybody any ideas what it could be its a Skoda fabia saloon thanks.

Probably the anti-roll bar drop links.

Thanks for the response I will have a look underneath and see if this might be the cause

I've had a look and when the car was jacked up I turned the wheel and at a certain point the wheel was making a clicking noise like the one I've been hearing could this be the wheel bearing ?

A clicking noise won't be the wheel bearing. Might something on the brakes.

As for the drop links, it's hard to tell if they are worn in situ because the anti-roll bar applies pressure to them masking any play in the joints. If they've been on the car for ages then I'd renew them as a matter of course because they fail regularly. Meyle HD ones are good.

Thanks for replying I had a mechanic do a quick look he said could be anti roll bar or drop links its not a clicking noise i used the wrong word its the sound of two pieces of metal tapping off each other i think heard it more clear driving with the window down but it does make that noise all the time im having the mechanic have a proper look soon so i will let you know what it was

Cool :)

Might be worth diy-ing a pair of drop links on if you don't know when they were last changed. They're cheap enough and you only need a couple of spanners to change them.
