Kodiaq or Superb Estate?

Recommended Posts

Volkswagen Tiguan will surprisingly tow 2500kg in SE-L spec (150hp) for a comparible (pretty much) level of equipment.  Also coming onto the s/h market as pre-reg at quite chunky discounts to new.  Skoda certainly seem to have shot themselves in the foot over this one.

Not really as the Volkswagen Group will dictate what Skoda CZ can produce or not that are competition to the VW, Audi & SEAT models.

Now there is a 7 seater SUV from Skoda that can be offered Globally including into North America & Canada where the VW / Audi name is now muck.

Many many people tow nothing more than light trailers, and many in the UK / EU have licences that mean they are unlikely to be towing much weight.

Younger generations might just buy a vehicle they want or think will suit their life style and situation.

If they want a VW, Audi or Seat then there are those on offer, it's all about choices, and then advertising and markets.

Do you think that if Skoda were allowed to set-up a dealer network in N. America it would have to seen be at "arms length" from the VW network?

I think that is what the VW Group / Skoda spin machine are already trying to do.

Skoda Heritage etc etc.

Time will tell if they can distance Skoda from the German parent company management ethic and corrupt practices and Board & Senior Executives that are all through their business dealings 3 Monkeys. ie see, hear and say no evil.
