O3 upgrades? (crazy idea)

Featured Replies

As we all saw new Octavia facelift and Kodiaq.

I really would want Skoda to offer upgrades to current Octavia MK3 models!

As; ambient lights in doors!

Replacement of MIB Into MIB II or new MIB III. (This part is personally ****ing me off. Cuz ****ty MIB I is embarrassment and shouldn't been fitted in O3 at all in first place.  :swear: )

And those door protectors Kodiaq has when you open the door, that hidden ruber protection that comes out when you open door to prevent scratching your door to another car on parking lot.

I know car manufactures don't have this ideas so it would be nice to like this topic and if there's lots of good feddback send it to Skoda and ask for ther opinion to make such an upgrade.

And maybe replace old tail light with new LED one form facelift if you want to stay trendy.  :giggle:

What do you guys think?

Fitting them yourself if the only option. Skoda won't offer a retrofit service, no matter how loud you shout.

ambient in the doors is relatively simple.... of that I'm sure. Drill some holes and pull current from the standard setup. Low current white LEDs should do nicely. Or you could put another couple of cables through and then use an Arduino and some WS2812s for full RGB.

The door protectors sound very much like the ones on teh Ford Focus.

You could try ordering some door card parts from the new facelift model. They look to be the same shape.

Agree MIB1 is cacka.

Suggest getting a new car...it's the easiest way!
