Rear shocks, still good or bad?

Featured Replies

Hi all

I can not recognise if my shocks are good or bad. Not sweating because they are gas ones. Not fluffy but making bum on speed bumps. Car over 200k on the clock. I heard that the gas still there but the pistone inside can be worn and works in reverse. Any idea? Thanks

Over 200k on them!?

Best case scenario they will be well past their best.

I'd change them out myself, standard spec OE equivalent parts are cheap enough.
