Quick Tyre Question

Featured Replies

I'm having all 4 tyres changed tomorrow but the rears that are being taken off still have 6mm on them.

Is it worth asking for these from the garage and sticking them in the garage in case of emergency?

Cheers.

Either that or sell them on as they're nearly new!

May i ask why you are changing all he tyres ?

That's my thinking John!

@Auric -I don't like the Pirelli's that it's got on, I was running GY Asy 3's on my last car and much prefer them in the wet and dry.

I have winter wheels on at the moment but my  230 came with Pirelli P Zero tyres. It's the first time I've driven on Pirelli's and I like them, I find the Grip is very good in the wet/dry.  I run them at 37 PSI.

I'd definatley use them again.

Yep same as mine, I just don't like them to be honest, it may be becasue the fronts are worn down making them more slidey but with the price difference between them and the Goodyears and the fact that I know thje GY's are good tyres, I thought I may as well get them changed over at the same time.

I know a man who has 2 Pirelli's with 6 mm if you want some Auric  :p

The 19's won't be going back on again untill the spring, then off again in the autumn. With the milage I do it could take me years to wear the originals out.  I'll pass thanks
