Anyone ever fitted a satnav, radio Bluetooth device into their car instead of the basic one that comes with the car.

Would prefer one of these fitted rather than use my phone or buy individual satnav.

yes i have fitted one my 2013 vrs estate got a anudseden on ebay pretty much a straight swap

had to buy a dab antennae for mine and run behind the top glove box as well as the GPS receiver which sits in mine at the bottom of the left hand pillar on the dash all in all takes less than an hour. well worth it imo.

I know that i have posted in 3-4 other topics the photos of my modified console (in various stages) but i think it's proper to have them all in one topic plus informations for the step by step procedure. Maybe another member will read it and try to modify his or someone can find via Google Search the photos and have an inspiration. I have done an Upgrade in mine and in the future i will make another one modification so let's take everything from the beginning. Note: Some photos are from internet

We bought our Scala Monte Carlo Edition 1.5 tsi back in December and from late January it has had both mechanical problems and electronic gremlins. The mechanical problem have mostly been sorted, new rear discs and pads that were making noises like a wheel bearing was rumbling, the gearbox has had a software update and a reset (it's still not perfect). And the road noise is just the high dB tyres and lack of sound insulation. The electronic gremlins were put down to a failing 12v battery which

I wonder if someone can help me identify the correct OEM product number for a gearbox oil change I am planning. The car is 19 years old and just passed the 50k mile mark and I thought it would be prudent to change the oil when I service it this summer. The trouble I am having is getting any reliable information from online purveyors of oil. I would like to buy original VAG oil. Mine is a 5 speed manual gearbox.

Hi, I recently bought a '22 Kamiq and found that the rear speakers aren't working. When I go to the Sound > Position section of the infotainment screen, I have the cross on the screen and I am able to fade the speakers left to right, however there are no arrows on the vertical axis and you cannot fade the speakers front to back. I have tried a Hard and Factory reset but this does not fix the issue. I have briefly read that maybe this means a wire is bust or a speaker is broken which is cau
