Featured Replies

Hi guys,

My friend have problem with front and rear lights. One day front left and rear left and right lights go off. I think maybe is problem somewhere with grounding. Can someone can give me electric diagrams of 2009 1,6MPI, or some advices about how to find problem.

Best Regards,

Raf

For wiring info go to erWin Skoda (google it). Register and login. Go to the Individual vehicle information tab, choose Repair information from the dropdown. Choose model, choose info medium Current flow diagrams, choose the appropriate one (as of May 2007, I suppose), then click Order flat rate, get your credit card out and spend a few Euro, then download the pdf. While you're there there's a whole lot of other info you can download if you want more value for your money. The information is copyright, so I can't just share it with you, but with practice and sensible use of "ctrl-F" you can learn to navigate around the rather large documents.  Note that lighting info may appear several separate times within the document, a few pages after the headings "Basic Equipment" at various dates.  Choose the date just before the build date of your car for the best information.

The external lighting appears to be generally:  supply-wire-switch-wire-J519 then J519-wire-bulb-wire-earth as far as I can see, so not that strange.  J519 is the onboard power supply control unit.

Thanks for all info guys!

We solve the problems with lights easy... bad contacts in main fuse box! Reinserted fuses and after this all work well!

Thanks and Cheers,

Raf
