No reason why it won't be a decent filter in particular, but most people here have either got standard filter, K&N or Green Filter fitted in theirs.

It is likely to be an improvement over the paper filter for sure. I would ask them if the fit is good and how oily it is. If it's very oily it could damage the MAF but in reality IMHO it will probably be fine anyway
