Here's an unrelated video of my engine bay, what's the grey paste/glue type thing just to the left of the oil lid/cap? Best seen at 40 seconds

It was there when I purchased the car

 

Has the belt/chain been changed?

I don't think it's an oil leak as it looks like someone has resealed the area

That is what i meant 'resealed', because the casing was split and needs resealed.

​It seems the sealant they use when closing back the camshaft chain covers (the black plastic part on the left of the block, is the top part of it). I had my chain replaced 2 years ago and a bit also oozed out, although not as much (I guess the mechanic who did it in mine was a bit neater :) ). [i have the same CBZ engine as you].
