Howdy

After all the help ive been asking for recently, thought id show the fruits of my labour. The site ere: www.moneysupermarket.com/motor is pretty good for quotes, fins some nice cheap ones and only need to put in your details once. searches over 50 insurers, although some decline to quote depending on age, ris, not having a reg no. etc. Check the real quote is the same as the one they list though, as the companies make some assumptions.

Someones signiture on here: You can live in your car, but you cant race your house

Quotes for myself and wife driving my 2002 4X4 Estate varied from £132.06 with £50 cashback (Post Office), £132.89 with a £1000 own fault excess (Swiftsure), £165.89 (NU Direct) to £325.51 with LV - my current insurer. I actually pay £388.05 including 75% NCD, protected NCD, joint business use, legal expenses insurance and with a £200 accidental damage excess. I would guess that all those quotes would either increase markedly or be withdrawn when I mention remap.
