Hi am looking for advice on how to remove the pillar A facial to fit a dab windscreen aerial on the passenger side of a mk2 Fabia

Start from the top and pull the A pillar trim away with your hands - there are 3 metal clips (top middle and bottom), they're pretty strong and the middle one is prone to falling out once the trim has been removed so be mindful of that. It takes a fair amount of force to pull the clips out - but pull firmly and they will come out

Hi Jake. Have managed to look behind the trim and there are no metal clips only plastic and it appears that the trim may need to be lifted vertical to clear a thin slot so that the facia can be pulled away. Can anyone confirm this please.

You won't be able to see the clips without removing the trim. See the workshop manual:
