Hi, thanks for adding to the forum. Having just sold my beloved 10 plate Audi A4 I'm looking to buy a Skoda Superb 09 to 12 plate. Trying to decide on the engine and gearbox option. Very tempted by the 170 bhp tdi DSG option. SE or Elegance model. Any advice or pitfalls would be greatly appreciated.

Good choice to move to - I still miss my Superb.

 

170 DSG Elegance would be my choice, provided I was doing the miles to justify a DERV.

Welcome along!  I agree with the above, a 170 DSG Elegance.  I've had two 170 TDi Superbs, both in higher spec trim.  You have everything you need from Elegance up.  I've had manual boxes but the DSG suits the car better, which is why I'm going DSG for my next one :)  Good luck and hope you find a suitable example.
