Amundsen Satnav and Yeti Drive

Featured Replies

Would a new Yeti L&K with the Amundsen II come with SmartLink?

If not, are there any Yetis that do come with it?

It will be capable of Smartlink but it will not work unless you include it in the order as a £150 option or else pay the dealer to activate it at a later date.

Thanks mumpsim

.............. It is one reason why car manufacturers are belatedly beginning to realise they cannot compete with mobile phone technology, which advances far faster than they can cope with, and they would do better to co-operate with it by displaying phone apps on the car's screen, as with Apple Carplay and Android Auto...........

Absolutely, and the car manufacturers need to provide or have as an option a good sized screen for the sat nav etc. to be shown on.

Anyone know how much dealers are charging to activate Smartlink? Is it a simple matter of activating software that's already installed, or is new software required?

£150 is the cost.
