2015 Superb Front Windscreen Washers

Featured Replies

My driver side jet isn't spraying as much as my passenger side, and there is quite a bit of water under the bonnet, so there is definitely a leakage or loose pipe.

My question is, how do I get at the connection between the pipe and the jet? It seems to be sealed within the bonnet somewhere, and I don't want to go poking around in case I do something I shouldn't.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Ignoring the fact that your car is probably still under warranty, the heat protection/sound absorbing pad is not too difficult to remove from underneath the bonnet. The clips (iirc) have two overlapping, rectangular halves. When you squeeze these together the clip can be withdrawn from its hole. The edges of these clips can neatly press into the gap between your finger and finger nail, causing much pain.

***I would not entertain doing this without putting a blanket over the entire engine bay; it is a complete certainty that one or more of these clips will ping off down into the engine bay otherwise. The under tray etc. will then have to be removed to try and find it.***

I think this gives some access to the washer jet connections, never heard of them leaking before though.
