Forgot to mention, there is a Seat sport sticker in the middle of the brace held on with the worlds most powerful adhesive, any ideas on removal without ruining the finish ?

Hair dryer, then remove the sticky yukky glue with solvents. Looks good, is a strut brace next on the list for my Octy. :)

Just peel the bugger off! That's what I did & it looks fine (pics in gallery I think).

Just gently lift one corner, and then carefully coax it off by rubbing a cloth soaked with white spirit around it, that will disolve the adhesive.

Strut brace looks the Biz!

I picked one up today. Figured it was the one easy 'mod' I'd missed out on doing.

Was it easy to fit? Did you torque wrench it to 25Nm?

Has it improved the steering?

John.

Be honest, have you noticed any difference?

Yes. I tried to go out and clear my mind of 'my car WILL be better than before' and in the corners (tight ones) you can feel the steering is sharper. As far as revving goes, I've not fitted the green filter, the standard one is still in there (they ordered the wrong one) no idea if that makes the difference. I'm still running in, so don't want to kick the **** out of it.
