Touch-up paint?

Featured Replies

Any suggestions on where to get touch up paint?

I was interested in chipex but was wondering if it was worth the £40 the best selling kit cost.

Got mine from Skoda dealer.

If you get the paint code, take a look on ebay for the genuine OEM kits.

I had a ChipEx kit for my Mk II. Waste of 40 quid. Very poor colour match - more yellow than candy white.

You can buy both sprays and the little bottles with a brush in the lid at your dealer. A set with color/clear coat is 10-12£, and then you are sure, that the color will match!

Is there a particular colour that shows the paint chips a lot more than others? Who has really bad chips on the paint and what colour is it...?

I've found that Skoda Metallic/Pearl paints seem to suffer more from stone chips than their solid counterparts!
