O and it Black

Welcome on board!

Seems the path of Clio 1.2 -> Fab RS is a common one - Neo has done the same!

Not surprizing Clio's are crap! Except the 172 and V6 versions. The new one is slightly better but the last version was the pits!

my one is the last version 52 plate. Their not bad cars for the price. You get a lot of kit with them now.

Test drove two fabia vrs, can't wait till i get mine. I think a trip to Jabba will be on the cards once i've run it in.

i had one of the first 51 plates.. before the auto washers n headlights.. it was a nice car.. but several problems meant it had 3/4 of the engine replaced and they still couldnt sort it.

you will miss the clio IMHO they are great cars (or am i mad?)

Yes they are well equipped. My mate has a V-Reg version and it is really crap! Handles like a bus, slow, hard shiny plastics, no rear leg room and has back to front wipers!

depends what you change to ;)

the only bit i miss from the clio is the seats.. and the handling

i was being sarcastic but the one i test drove before buying the furbie was like a bean tin with clangy doors and it just had atrocious handling i think my octy is better and the furbie is as proved in wales ;)

I came away from wales amazed how well the clio handled, ok, was a bit too rolypoly for my liking, and doesnt like long sweeping bends.. but in the hills.. i wasnt far behind the TDi fabias :D

it would roll a bit then settle into the bends, with amazing ajustability!

just like the furbie however on long sweepers you can just lock the furbie into it and it goes round like it is on rails a lot of lean but it is to me impressive for what it is.

apart from over crests....

"f00k... hes gonna lose it" :D

The handling on the basic none sport clio is poor to say the least. I've had two dynamique's (51 and 52 plate) which are classed as a clio sport which get stiffer shocks, spring and quicker steering rack. This makes a BIG improvement. I also fitted Eibach sprintline springs and 16in alloys from the 172. You could really throw the clio about. The only thing i didn't like was it did tend to understeer a bit.

O and the lack of power.

As for the rear leg room well i never sat in the back. (ever looked at the back of a new mini)

when my car used to understeer.. quick dab on the brakes would bring back end round WEEEEEE :D
