Good morning from the still dark quite chilly city of Bergen in Norway.

 

Thank you for letting me into the forum and community.

 

My name is Svein and just yesterday I got myself a white 2014 Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDI 4x4 Estate.

Been into different VAG cars for the last 14 years; 2001 Skoda Octavia 1,9 TDI, 2003 Seat Alhambra 1,9 TDI, 2003 VW Passat 3BG 1,9TDI Estate, 2007 VW Touran 1,9 TDI.

Not very many as I tend to hang on to my cars for some years.

 

I used to do quite some wrenching on my cars earlier but as I'm getting older I spend less time wrenching on cars.

These days I rather wrench on motorbikes in stead. I do have an 1977 BMW R75/7 as a basket case that hopefully someday will be roadworthy again.

 

During the summer I ride a 2004 BMW R850R and just love the feeling.

 

I still have my tools and my VCDS (formerly known as VAG-COM) and just might dig into the Octavia to see if I just might find some personal tweaks.

 

I'm also into ham radio and also have a dog (Flat Coated Retriever).

 

My daily work is as a biomedical engineer dealing with different types of electric medical equipment for hometreatment; respiratory equipment, pain management, nutrition management, diabetes monitoring and treatment among others.
