Diesel....not for convertibles

Featured Replies

Love our Fabia vRS and diesel performance.Just don't think diesel is right for things like Audi A4 convertible or any soft top (stupid Tigra thing:rolleyes: )

I feel the same about the big saloons A8's,big mercs. If the argument is the mpg is better then these buyers are either tight or can't really afford a big car.If people claim it is a better 'lazy' drive ie they don't need to change gear much, why didn't they just get an auto?

Having a beautiful car that sounds diesel like(yes they do still!) must be terrible with the roof off.And it still is messy at the pumps!

Each to their own (if you own an A4 diesel cabrio,a question.Do you leave tips in restaurants ? ;) )

And it still is messy at the pumps!

I've still not figured out why the diesel pump gets messy and how people get diesel on the handle of the pump  Maybe my filling technique is missing something

Don't lorry drivers bathe in it? ;)
